- The Person Behind the Lens-
Photography has always been an interest of mine. Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to have a camera in my hand. The large shiny minolta film camera that my mother always seemed to carry was very intrigueing to a youngster. She would often let me hold it when she would drop off the film to be developed. I would hold it up to my eye and pretend. Click...Click. It wasn't until my family bought one of those new digital cameras that my mom would finally let me snap some pictures. A few here, a few there. Finally the day came...I received my first camera. Since then photography has become a passion. I have come a long way; Capturing memories. thoughts. life. My goal is to cause an image to speak to the viewers' soul. It is there that real art can live. I am a graphic & studio art major at George Fox University who... - looks through my camera to find beauty in the mundane and art in the everyday...

This weekend I went down to Elkton, Oregon with a couple of friends. The woods, the countryside, and the wildlife were all so absolutely beautiful. All was beckoning for a photo story.
This spring break, my family and I went to Bend, Oregon and on the way home, I was inspired by the landscape. So I had my mom stop the car and my little sister (whose nickname is Little Feather because she was only 1lb. 4oz. when she was born) and I decided to do a quick roadside “indian” shoot.
